The 2008
Latina Folic Acid Social Marketing Campaign Launched
The 2008 Latina Folic Acid Social Marketing Campaign is administered
by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Its goals are to increase
awareness on the importance of consuming 400 micrograms of folic acid
daily during reproductive years, and to increase the percentage of young
Latinas that consume folic acid daily. The Campaign materials can be
ordered free of charge at the Campaign’s website at
www.takemultivitamins.com.
The Campaign is looking for community partners and/or organizations who
are interested in supporting the Campaign to reduce birth defects among
